Christine Ledbetter is a former arts and entertainment editor who, after retiring from The Washington Post, decided she still had a lot to say.

For over four decades, Christine Ledbetter served as arts, entertainment and features editor at such newspapers as The Washington Post, Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Detroit Free Press, Dayton Daily News, Fort Wayne News-Sentinel, and Boca Raton News.

She retired just in time for Covid lockdowns and began writing opinion and culture pieces, as well as volunteering for political campaigns. 
A long-time feminist, Christine is passionate about human rights, the preservation of the arts and advancing cultural literacy.

Christine resides in Illinois with her husband/editor, Dean Skylar, and enjoys exercising, traveling, reading, attending arts performances and visiting museums.
